Following the most recent work we have done in the topic of food and farming. I would like you to share your opinion on Organic & Conventional farming.
Reminder: Organic farming - Not using any chemicals to influence the growth of crops and therefore not harming the environment. Conventional farming - The use of chemicals and fertilisers to influence the growth of crops, this can harm the environment. The bushfires have been a terrible start to 2020 for many living in Australia. The fires have been caused by the extreme heat Australia is facing in it's summer which runs from January to March. The impact is being felt by not just animals, where around over 1 billion animals have been killed, but also the population. How does seeing these images make you feel about the bushfires & what do you think needs to be done to help?
The Amazon rainforest has been on fire over the summer, due to the widespread high temperatures and the limited rainfall in recent weeks. The United Nations has offered funding of over $21 million to Brazil to support the relief effort. This was rejected. How do you feel about the fire? What impact do you think it might have?
Boris Johnson faces a crisis with his desire to get the United Kingdom to leave the European Union on the 31st October 2019. Following Member of parliaments approval to pass a law for the rejection of potential 'No Deal' outcome. What do you think should happen for the United Kingdom's future?
